I spent two long days looking for one last summer. Very glad not to be the one to find it.

34ft Sunseeker Hawk but I had to give it back! I had 4m Avon with a 40 on at the time so I wasn't going to get very far with it anyway!

You're not wrong.

I once told a joke on here involving a sheep, ripped wellies and the tip of my tongue. I hadda send JK a personal apology (hand snipped from the headslines of six national dailies) along with 20 beer vouchers. Rumour has it Polwart lifted the beer vouchers and I've been in the bad books ever since....

I had a close call there then, If i do step out of line in future i apologize in advance as my humor can be somewhat dry

RIBase
The best flotsam is on the west coast. I've picked up countless inflatable fishing bouys (I can't help myself... I have to have them!) A half submerged tree trunk that probably came from Canada), fishing boxes marked Lochinver (perfect for storing wood kindling), all the nylon rope you could want, oilskin trousers (that I used to wear) and sheep. The daft bu**ers go over the edge of the cliff because that's where the best grass is!

LOL!!!! I have just had to clean the screen/keyboard of my laptop having just taken a gulp of coffee before reading that. ROFLMAO!!!

I know there's 363 days to go, but I'd like to nominate that here and now for post of the year.

I fished a brand new Football out the Solent a couple of years back, brought it back home for my Son to play with. After I presented it to him he gasp. "What's wrong" I asked him. "Wow this has floated all the way from Italy" he said looking at the Made in Italy sign

I didn't have the heart to tell him where it really came from

I also found a yellow floating rubber Duck out for a swim.
