One of the boat yards around Salcombe were selling "leisure" spec ones for close to 20k , there's a thread with a picture on here somewhere
I know a man who has one with an Etec 90 on the back

Pacer Marine are asking £15995 for a new SR5.4 with a 60hp EFi Mariner & braked roller coaster trailer:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-AVON-5-40M...item254ae1dd56
They may sell you the boat alone, as it doesn't appear to be rigged yet.

Nah, once my SR4's been upside down a couple of times I might consider a 5.4

Also depends on the spec. The commercial spec ones are more. The military spec are a ridiculous amount of money.

Have you tried Yampower in Glasgow they are Avon dealers who can ship them to Ireland usually at a great price.

I knew they were bloody expensive new, but I wasn't expecting it to be Vipermax territory for a new one ready for the water! It's the 1st time I've done the sums for the whole setup.

A 5.5m Vipermax with 2-seat jockey console & steering would cost less.

It's not far off VM 6.5 money, there's no comparison.
They know how to charge in West Wales.
