same with Hammar sensor. Easy to put on, lightweight to wear.

I did a test on these and I have now moved over from the crewsaver 190n due to the comfort.

I also agree the customer service from spinlock is great. The only downside is price but for me they are the best by quite a long way.

For me it should be that comfy you should not know you have it on and a hood is not an option it is vital having used 2 in an emergency. so what ever you buy try it on first and make sure it has a knife and hood.

I like the Spinlocks too! a lot of 275 jackets ( particularly the crewsaver} put a pressure on your neck which can leave you with an aching neck if you have used it all day. the Spinlocks design doesn't do that.

It's been decades since I worried about my image but if I did then they look kinda snazzy too

Have any of the people raving about spinlock tried them in the water? I recall one of the sea safety instructors on here was less impressed once he'd worn one 'in anger'? Just wondering if that view is shared by others?

Go on the dig out the thread and lets find out what was wrong with a ISO standard 275n LJ.

I'm hoping it didn't deflate or turn the wearer over?

I have to be honest I wear a life jacket for two reasons
I cos it makes sense Stu's rule
2 cos I'll get run off the job if I don't Stu's boss's Rule
Most of the time I wear a Crewsaver as that's what is supplied and they are really uncomfortable to wear. I check em everyday and expect them to go off when triggered, as they have meet the relevant safety standards. it never occurred to me to take one for a test drive to see if it held me properly in the water. It gives me some concern that the ISO testing regime would appear lapse

CE Approved
ISO12402-3 Lifejacket
ISO 12401 Deck Harness

are the ones that Spinlock are claiming
