Is he not just shifting stock before everyone else as with the newly launched crew fit range all the old stock will drop in price over the coming months?
Do people not find these put pressure on the neck if worn all day? Reviews tend to say they do and even the crewsaver video on the new ergo fit design days they were very aware of the old issues.

He may well be shifting them as they are technically 'old' models - but for the price I paid I dont car if I'm not 'on trend' with thel test spinlock look copy.
I've worn one for about 12 hours going RTI a couple of years ago - wear one regularly for 10hrs a day and have never felt uncomfortable in the leastno issues on the neck area or anythwre else for me

I have the Crewfit 190N plus (harness version) and it is comfortable for me, though to be fair I haven't tried many different types.
I bought mine at the boat show last year where there were lots of deals going, and got a recharge kit at the same time. I then used it when jumping into the swimming pool with full kit on, and it worked a charm - managed to turn me the right way up etc. though the bladders are huge so my arm/head movements were quite restricted when it was inflated.
Some other people found that their 150N lifejackets did not turn them over successfully when their foulies were full of water so it is important to buy the right type of jacket, and test that it works for you, using the gear that you would normally wear on a cold day out.
One of my kids was using a loaner lifejacket in the pool, probably poorly fitting and without crotch straps, and that was useless. It rode up high and was choking her, making everything really difficult.
The spray hood was important too, even in the comfortable environment of a swimming pool, but I wouldn't even think about trying to use a belt mounted hood. I'd never be able to reach in, unpack, and fit a loose spray hood after plopping into a moving sea unexpectedly.
I realize that you spend far more time on deck wearing the lifejacket, and it has to be comfortable there; but it was also an eye-opener to experience the jacket in its inflated state, and appreciate that you need to choose one that is right for when it really matters.

I think I read somewhere before I bought this jacket that although its 190its only actually rated at 150 as there's no rating for 190 at the moment. It's 150 then a jump to 240 ? Not sure if that's correct though and I've not yet checked the labels to see what they say. It said most of the 150's are capable of higher but as they do not meet the next grading they are marked down.

Yeah, I think that is right.
The lifejackets are categorized into standard categories, and if it doesn't meet the higher standard then it may meet the next one 'down'.

These crewsaver just keep getting re-listed on eBay in batches of 8.
I guess this will be their standard price once the new ergo fit is fully rolled out.
