Crocs every time, a nice navy with a white stripe for the boat & a green pair for in the garden so that the sheep$hit blends in...... Not nice when it's fresh though !

Crocs are not cool but they are the ultimate summer boating shoe after my peek toe sling back wellies!!
But for the other 51 weeks of the year it is short sailing wellies.

Sandals with socks, a white office shirt, navy (too short ) shorts and a khaki safari hat..............oh and sunburn.
Now that's cool.
Fashion police take note.

But then nobody's ever said "those old trainers look great" or "those J-boots look good with shorts" or "those sailing boots look really cool on a hot afternoon" either".
To be fair my bright orange crocs do turn heads & get me noticed.....an obvious fashion statement as fashion is all about being noticed.
In any case, in my experience of this distinguished group of people tasteful fashion (apart from some life-jacket envy -is not exactly the prime concern

I believe it to be the non croc wearers to be the ones with their fingers on the pulse, no?A croc is a croc, just change the colour. There are of course the leather stylees.
But I'd say croc wearers are a bit above the fickles of fashion. It's more to do with style.
;-)

On my way to work I pass a woman who is obviously not all there, talking to herself and swinging her arms. She is dressed in shoddy clothing and yes you got it, Croc's......That's why I would never wear them as I think of her every time I see them. I think they look crappier than a big bag of crap things in crap world, sorry call the fashion police !!

I thought fashion was getting noticed for the 'right' reasons.
If you drive your rib in a Borat style mankini you would get noticed ... For looking like a twat ... But if its being noticed that counts go for it.

I get what you are saying but would Crocs be more acceptable if they were to match your tube colour?
I was thinking of getting these for AJ as a wedding present? I mean not even Crocs look like Crocs anymore......

Crocs that try to look like..boat/deck shoes. Two key points;
They are trying to make them like boat/deck shoes
Even crocs are trying to make crocs look less like crocs!
I rest my case....
(But I'd pay to see AJ in those and matching headband sat on his boat)

No. Was at Salford Quays last weekend with wifey for a look-see. Nice place. Until ... walking towards us ... two guys, hand in hand, pink jackets, knee length skin tight shorts, white deck shoes
