If you zoom in on the two seat picture you can see the "graphite style" vinyl

Centre console now removed. It is shocking how some people do jobs. I bought the rib knowing it needed refurbing the console is bad as the pics show. I will repair and re fibreglass.
Also discovered that the fuel tank was rather larger than I though!!

After getting the console off and discovering how badly it had been bodged the following took place.
Stainless steel bands holding the back half of the console together removed (the fuel tank was obviously an after thought and rather than removing the console to fit the tank the back was simply cut off and the tank pushed in)
Filled ant holes that i didn't need and made some internal bracing to hold the back end of the console on.
Prepared the surface for the fibre glass.
Fibreglasses the complete console and then flow coat.
Here are some pictures. Fairly pleased with the outcome!!!!

Fit and adjust some new rollers to my trailer.
Fit and adjust new winch post and which
Fit and adjust new trailer brake internals with also a diy flushing kit.
Repaint my lower gearbox as the local outboard services did a crap job runs and paint defects all over it.
Get my upper cowling repainted as its a mariner at the moment but I reckon mercurys look a lot better.
Get my upper engine serviced carbs cleaned, spark plugs etc et and throttle cables adjusted.
Fit new fuel hoses throughout the boat.
Fit new fuel/water seperator.
Get the pervious owner hull damage repaired after he took the hull down to the grp matting in quite a few places.
Get the hull polished.
Sort out the electrics as they are sporadic at best.
And obviously lots more than I could ever think of

Hull being taken back to gel coat after 5 yrs/coats of anti foul, then keyed, primed and anti fouled by mike Whitham glass-fibre in ormskirk.
Then on to SIT in Preston, all the old extra rubbing strake from under the rear half being removed and refitted once the teardrop to the cones and seam/tapes re glued where it'd come away. (Explains our loss of 15mph at end of season) Plus a full tube refurb.
Going be like new, whoop
Also getting two cleat/handles put on top of tubes half way between console and bow. Somewhere to hold on when transiting to the bow in a chop for rope/anchor/mooring.
New Jockey seat covers, cushions and bases to go on base units, plus back pads. Old marine MDF bases rotten. Cushions being done in "closed cell foam"!! Should stop them absorbing half the Menai Strait.
Trailer had new brakes as seized and one drum collapsed. Also getting new bearings for piece of mind.
Will do a before and after thread with pics.
Looking forward to April.

Is there a logic to the hinges being on the outside of the jockeys rather than on the underside?
Just got our cushions but haven't screwed hinges in yet so have the option.
