Depends if you are buying or selling!
Seriously, there are too many factors involved to price it like that, all values are determined by market demand - which includes things like seating configuration, visual appearance including inside engine bay, if all the tubes go down simultaneously (blown baffles), the drive leg, the HP of the engine (and thus expected speed. Is it commercial specced (and hours) or leisure specced? Trailer? Electronics, anchor ropes etc? Urgency / convenience of the seller to move it on (I'm guessing its someone who's had it in the dry stack and doesn't want to pay to renew, and who also won't want to pay brokerage fees etc...).
Diesel rib pricing in particular seems to be erratic. Interestingly I think at the "scruffy" end of the market prices have also
fallen quite a bit in the last 5 yrs or so that I've been keeping my eye open.
IIRC one of your clients was selling a Humber Diesel 6.5 a wee while back for under £12k - is this one more or less desirable?
