Whats the best choice ...need advice

6m ....ribeye or xs600 ,osprey 6m around 2005 onwards........I want to use it off shore and bay hopping....

Ribeye possibly more family oriented plenty of space but still capable, XS more traditional no frills tough rib, never had an osprey....
Got a 6m XS coming in Feb though...

Totally agree in terms of hull, but ospreys' fit out build quality will vary on who did it. Generally done by aftermarket i believe. Could be anything from average to perfectly put together with incredible meticulous detail.Most are above average due to typical type if owner.

Ribeye is what it is, mass produced leisure boat/family/med style. White plastuc and cushions. Great for what they are. Some love them, some hate them.
