Whats the catch?
While trawling boats and outboards in the hope of a £1500 scorp I came accross this:
http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk/view/F87332
Seems alot of boat for the money, surely must be a type error, any one want to go in a share I ve got the £995

I'd guess it must be a typo - surely the Etec alone is worth nearly that? £19,995 might be closer?

Probably a price error, it is an older boat with a new engine, but still seems cheap. Maybe he needs the money to keep the RR Sport on the road

friend of mine is taking her out for a seatrail next weekend.
The catch inhere is that it's not a original Tornado but one made experimental by someone who works there.
I have seen pictures though and it really looks good. Nice hul, no major damages en new tubes.
Sounds like a sweet deal to me.

Your right the information says it's in Denmark, But that's for sure not a Danish license plate.
They will impound the plate on site, and you will not be allowed to drive the boat home. Been there done that (with Pete7 old boat trailer )
Looks a bit strange

Here is a reply I got this morning regarding F88584 . Looks like a lot of work . Too much for my limited boat building skills . Might suit somebody else on the forum .
Regards
Tim
"The boat was newly built summer 2004 but has not really seen the water. It needs stripping out and the floor lifted to strengthen the free board or whatever the main bit down the middle that the floor is fixed to is called. The hull also retains the water so drain off holes need to be done to allow the water to escape, there are issues with the wiring not having fuses etc and lots of cosmetic things I do have a full report from a surveyor that can be viewed. The boat also does not have ce certification and will need to be inspected upon completion or even during."

It sounds like a Jardon Marine of Surrey product.

new boat
Hi
I am looking at a 6.5 or 7 metre boat shortly and the list is short.
It will either be a humber OCEAN PRO or a Tornado of similar length.
does any one have recent experience of humber as I have heard great things of the hulls and bad things re finish/fit etc also it will have 150 2 stroke so if anyone has one of these with a 150 please shout!
I need to know speeds acheived laden and
quality of build
etc
thanks
mike
