Anyone know what this is and are they any good? It looks like it might have a hard time in rough water? Ebay Rib
I've seen these hulls for sale quite cheap a few times but the owners never mention the make. I don't want this particular one btw. Not got the cash lying around at the mo.

It's one of those "Bosuns" made by Woody Blagg back in the late 80s. I had one of the smaller version the "Bosons mate" about a year ago. They are supposed to be extremely good for their size although I cant testify to this as I never went out in it. There was a rumor that they might be going back into production of the smaller model although I don't know if anything ever came of this. I recon that ones a bit over-priced although it's not in bad condition....
yeah bit of a wide boy isnt it, not sure if I like the tubes cornering round the back but hey thats my opinion - looks seaworthy enuff anyway, dam sight more than my boat present anyway boo hoo sniff sniff
The little private fishing type boats seem to favour a similar type of hull. And in the Solent when its a crap day besides RIBs and the odd yacht you still see those little fishing boats hammering through the chop.
Therefore it must have something going for it.
DEFINITELY NOT a Blagg Bosun but may be a copy there was only 20 bosuns built in the uk before the moulds were sold to new zealand .production ran from 1982 until 1989 . the smaller version ,bosuns mate , was made for approx 10 years from 1983 onwards and 70 were produced in that time . i think Lorne Cambell was a friend of woody blaggs hence the similarity to blade runner and banana shark hulls
