When will it end!!

Four days on Skye,force 6-7 and torrential rain all the way no let up since we arrived unbelievable!!!Fortunately found the whisky shop in Portree. Smokehead (Islay mystery blend apparently) very nice ....Might get on water tomorrow!!

feeling sorry for you . Skye is a beautiful place, and when you had planned your holidays and brought your boat its a shame when the weather kicks in....post some pics if you do get on the water!

Sorry to hear

We have just returned from two weeks in skye and we had about 8 days of great weather.

I took to watching the xc weather website and watched and planned our weeks boating around this.

Was very windy when we left on Saturday, but from memory it said the weather was going to get better, we were on the west side and yes we did see three seasons in one day.

Amazing day, amazing boating. Hope it improves for you

Had a frost here this morning so that should sort the midges out. Tbh they haven't been bad this year, the Cleggs have been horrendous!

Loch Bracadale is like glass this am.Blue sky with a few clouds on the Cuillins.Off to burn some fuel and a spot of fishing!!!!
