Where can I buy IBS stuff?
Been on the IBS website and they seem a lot cheaper than Polymarine. Only problem is they don't have an online shop. Anyone know where I can order some IBS glue? (Or anywhere else for that matter which sells cheap glue)

That looks a bit pricey. Im after a litre of the PVC stuff. Its 27 from polymarine with vat and delivery. IBS shows 18 in the catalogue inc vat.

order over the phone! Have you tried henshaws? You may well be able to order online. You may have to sell out loads for postage if you buy mail order though.

IBS used to be (might still be) in South Woodham Ferrers in deepest Essex. Have you tried the obvious of ringing them up and seeing whether they do mail order? If not then mebbe a trip that way on your next run between Portsmouth and Norfolk?

Phoned IBS and they charge a small fortune for delivery so thats out of the window. They put me onto a local distrubter but they charge almost as much as IBS will with delivery! Lookings like I'm going with Polymarine now.....

I tried Henshaws for 2 part glue but said it would have to go as a hazardous cargo & be very expensive to deliver!

Unfortunately this will be the same for most suppliers. As Nick says, it's the 'hazardous materials' that cause the problem. If it's done properly then it would be handled manually and not through the machine sorters, hence more expensive. Also element of insurance in case it gloops over anyone elses packages.
Guess some of the eBay sellers just put it in the post and pray! I'm sure if a container ruptured in transit they would track it back though.

We have to advise that the adhesive is classified as "Hazardous Cargo" and as such incurs a delivery charge of £43.08 plus VAT.
However, we are able to send 250ml sets of the same two part adhesive without incurring this charge. If this is of interest to you the cost is £7.50 plus VAT for a 250ml set and the carriage would be the minimum charge of £17.75 plus VAT.

Try buying from dive suppliers as they use the same 2 part bostik glue for neoprene suites. Try these guys, there shipping charges normal for any online seller.

Good Luck
