LABRAX

It's a part of the scientific name of the european sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax).

It was made to help me to catch more...

I'm not sure it was a good idea for that...

Still trying to think of a name for the new boat, but a previous one was "The Doghouse" which seemed quite appropriate, especially when I'd spent more time with the boat than with my wife .... definitely in the doghouse

S-cape

Bought the boat in Cape Town which I loved and often need to escape from all of the hassle - hence S-Cape

We have two boys named Joe. Hendrix is the guitar God. One of our Joes can just about bang out 'Hey Joe' out on an acoustic. The girls want to know when we're going to name a boat after them. ' Miggly', Meggie and Milly.

Bought my rib from Pat Dempsey of Gray's Anatomy,a popular show here in the states, so all my associates think McDreamy(his nickname on the show) would be great. But there is noway if I had a problem I would use that for a call sign for Coast Guard or any one else I would sink first

My daughter, now 8, has long referred to RIBs as "bouncy boats". The sr hull is orange, I picked it up in October, just before Halloween -hence "Bouncy Pumpkin"

Not sure I would feel comfortable calling the CG with that name.

I used to do a fair deal of evening work to get the pennies together to pay for boatie stuff. Hence "Night Shift" seemed an appropriate choice.

I originally wanted to call her "For extra pleasure" since a call to the CG declaring "This is Rib For extra pleasure" could have brought a smile to everyone's face However that idea was veto'd by Mrs H.

It was rather awkward the first few times I used the radio, but I've gotten used to it. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a cute young blonde!

Here she is, solo on the Bouncy Pumpkin while the adult was aboard with the disabled sailors to effect a repair during a regatta.
