Where to get an "A" frame
Hi Guy's, Looking at putting a new "A" frame on our 5m Humber. Suggestions on bespoke manufacture would be welcome. Looking at one to carry dry boxes Attenna and Lights.
Thanx in advance.

Hi Brian,
I recently had an A frame made for me for my 6.3m Ocean Pro.
Depending what you want and how much you are willing to spend, I can let you have the guys details if you like. He is in Poole on the Nuffield industral estate.
PM me if your interested.
Nick

Don't know the Guy that Nick reccomended but you could try Gordon (compton ?) at Autoweld at Drivers Wharf he seems to be reasonable and reliable and his work is nice
theres also a couple of guys called Quay Welding and Fabrication who do superb work but are a bit slow so you have to push them, I'll try and find out there number for you

Hi Brian,
I need some mods done to my A-Frame and the guys at RIBs Marine (Christchurch) recommended Andy Peters? (I think that was his name - Can't find the dammed post it with the info on now) - He's based in Southborne so pretty local to you- may be worth a go.

I was looking at having one made for my 4.1m RIB not so long ago. A local compnay makes the frames for another local RIB company. They told me I was looking at around £400 what I needed.
Is this a realistic price, or would I find something cheaper if I shooped around?

Ouch, you should be paying a fabricator no more than 150 for a simple one

How much would the materials cost do you think? (Assuming that price is just for labour)
