Where to get large size foul weather gear?
I've been trying to get a decent bib/brace for years and I'm beginning to get annoyed with the manufacturers. I'm certainly not the biggest bloke that goes out on a boat, yet there seems to be absolutely nothing available anywhere-and what IS listed, there's no sizing charts for.
Anyone got any hints/tips for finding stuff? I'm beginning to think mail order is going to be impossible and I'm going to have to resort to driving to every chandlery in the country and trying on the odd item that might fit.

Thanks
Have you used/seen any of the bib/braces 1st hand? What's the quality like? It seems rather cheap pricewise compared with the likes of Musto/Henri LLoyd.

You could try some of the fishing brands, some great bib and brace sets from the likes of any fish any wear, greys, fladen and a host of others. Avail in lots of sizes.
I have had lots of the fishing sets over the years, also have a set of musto Br1 in xl and find these very comfy and a nice set.

Thanks, but looking at the prices it's an insane amount of money. Liposuction would probably be cheaper!
I know I could have gear custom made but quite frankly, I'm not uncommonly big. I find it infuriating that nobody AT ALL even lists anything other than 'mr average' sizes.
Most also can't even be bothered to publish a complete sizing chart.Almost none have anything other than S/M/L/XL sizing for bib'n'brace sets, and those that do either have incomplete charts, or they contradict themselves.
When online shopping is supposed to be the fastest growing method of buying, I find it almost incomprehensible that huge companies like these can be so blinkered.

Hopefully you'll see these on FB?? Facebook
A really simple one piece, velcro and zip front, velcro bottom legs. Fleece neck. Waterproof but not breathable.
Delia is great, she'll make all sorts so well worth an ask.
