Where to go and what to see...

I've asked a couple of questions here recently regarding how to launch and where to launch and had some excellent advice from many folks. Now that we have the means and the knowledge to successfully launch between The Solent and Falmouth, the question is where to go and what to see?

So, what are your favourite haunts on this stretch of water? This can be harbours, coves, bays, rock formations, inlets, mermaid locations...whatever, as they say, floats your boat

Wow! Big question! How long an essay do you want?!!!!

Try these links for starters though:

Solent: http://www.solentribster.com/Solent_Locations.htm

Poole: http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?t=5327 (towards the bottom of the page)

West of Swanage: http://www.jurassiccoast.com

Perhaps if you could be a bit more specific about area, interests etc it would help.

Problem is...we don't really know the area. Mylor is our only previous launch site with the now departed 1st boat. Guess we were just looking for peoples favourite round trips/scenic spots/watering holes that we could aim for.

The links you sent were great. Thank you...
