You will have loads of options... It all depends on where

Put it in at Cowes Yacht Haven and then you have plenty of places to stay in town, Anchor is a good night and is a BnB if you want more of a party!

Duke of York is a good pub and good BnB

The Maples Hotel (more a decent B&B) and Hythe Marina, just a short walk away work well....if you don't want to stay on the Island, but still visit being a short hop across the Solent

Plus one for the Duke of York - we ribbed there last winter and had a very nice stay.

When we go that way in August we've booked Lymington Marina and staying in the new forest - easy hop over and plenty to explore both sides.

Cheaper too

How about a night in the Xoron Floatel (an old converted MTB in Bembridge harbour), with the boat on the pontoon in the harbour?

Just done Lymington and had a mooring off the harbour master. Great base did Cowes and Yarmouth. Could have spent more time with loads of other places to visit.
