Today today, as opposed to yesterday today, I discovered yet another use for a good long boat hook - snagging the tall branches to secure the sweetest Zoider, sorry, Cider apples from the sunny zone at 12 feet...

Thanks gibbo.
Prop is a 13.25" x 17" pitch Turning Point Hustler and is spot on.

Don't remind me , 2-3 weeks to let the last starches convert to sugars and then it's into the crusher followed by my favourite Squeeze No. 2
Still, 120 liters of fizzy is an incentive

Beautiful sunny day here in Perth, about 29C.
Launched at Matilda Bay, went up to the Royal at Claissebrook, the Old Swan Brewery at Crawley then down to Freo for a late lunch at Little Creatures with ample refreshments on the way.
Cracking day.

BTB,
I envy you, my lad is in Queensland at Whitehaven Beach and it sure looks like paradise. He is backpacking his way around and plans to stay in Perth so i will tell him to keep a look out for a Ribtec.

We sailed the Whitsundays a couple of years ago and it is stunning. The night spent anchored off Whitehaven Beach was a standout - 5 miles of beautiful white sand, crystal clear water, kids zipping around in the tender, plenty of cold beer and the barbie fired up on the stern. Doesn't get much better....
pm me a couple of weeks before your son arrives and I'll try to take him out. Not promising as I work odd (long !) shifts and some weekends...
On reflection, that's pretty pathetic compared to what you guys put up with
ATB
Brian
p.s. I was brung up in Newton Abbot
