Which Humber is this?

I think this is a 6m Ocean Pro. Can anyone confirm my theory? (eg not a destroyer or assault)

Defo not an assault or Destroyer. Looks like an OP to me though maybe an earlier incarnation of what later became the OP. How old is it?

According to Powerboat and Rib Mag the Ocean Pro wasn't launched till 2002, prior to then it was called the Attaque which was pretty much the same hull. Wavelength would be the man to ask to confirm for sure I think.

Mark.

Agreed, not destroyer or current op. the latter has more chines under the main step. Probably the forerunner to it as suggested.

What's the beam?

The hull form was sold as the "Seasafe" before it beacme the Attaque. (well, certainly at 5m length / 2m beam - I got that info from Humber). Not sure if it's just the way it's been antifouled, but there appears to be a similarity in the spray rail arrangement to my 1984 vintage 5m / 2m beam) hull.

If it's got a serial number, give Humber a shout - Sue there was helpful when I was trying to figure out what mine was.

Also assuming you are planning on buying it and have a 4- stroke waiting for it, just beware that the mid 80s transoms were only rated for light mid 80s design engines.....

There is a serial number so I'll try Humber. It's about 6m long and has an internal beam of 1.4m - which fits in well with the internal beam of 1.35 of the Ocean Pro (or it's predecessor)

Already bought it. It will be having a Mariner 150 2-stroke bolted on shortly. Transom seems nice and solid.
