It's not that hard, I've got a similar setup, just set the Smartcraft gauges to display litres per hour. When cruising along at 3500 rpm it should be reading about 25/26 lph. Throttle up and hit 4000rpm and some frightening figures are thrown up on the display all the way to WOT: 50lph!!

You won't be long slowing down.

Acceleration really is phenomenal with these engines, though. I love the kick in the back feeling you get accelerating from cruising to manic speed!!

Superb boat and the only rib I really regret selling

. Owned one for 4 years and she went everywhere I did, even towed her to Germany for six months. Used for diving, cruising and camping. When all hell broke loose because you were out in weather you shouldn't have been in she had a sure, confident feel about her that she would get you home. A delight to drive offshore in big well spaced waves. I also had the console and fuel tank moved back 12 inches from the norm which put the steering position almost in the middle of the rib.

RR rig is very similar to Tob Bandana and I have been on that in about a 2.5 metre very windy swell and it just loved it I was most impressed.

Thinking on and agreeing with you their RW, I wonder whether the original poster looking for a 6m RIB ought to look at Top Banana (Daniel's RIB, for sale in the ads here.) A very well fitted out RIB IMHO and goes like stink as can be seen from the Photo's (Some of which I took!). Dan must be very busy to have to sell her

Absolutely, given he wants to use it in the wilds of Northern Scotland, I would be tempted to give up on the idea of a new rib for the size quality of fitout and equipment on Daniels Rib.
