I've got two, my own personal one for other jobs and stuff a Myerchin rigger, serrated. The boat one is a kitchen devil type knife that has had that horrific point ground off. V. cheap to replace and can be trashed if needs be.

The Garfish would love that - although I believe he said the knife should always be clenched between your teeth! (Anyone who has not been here long enough to know who the Garfish is, the weather is crap this would be a good weekend to start reading all of ribnet history!)...

Well obviously, but we only use them to slay down any haggis that we happen upon. There's nothing like the feel of a kilt flapping in the breeze, whilst travelling at 30kt while playing the bagpipes.
