nothing do with RYA instructors getting their Spinlock at reduced price - nice marketing Spinlock - I been told that spinlocks are not comfy inflated in water and are pigs to repackage after deployment or checking !

I had no problem re-packing mine after inflating it. They have a great video on YouTube that walks you through the process.

I bought a pair of ergofit 290's at the boat show. I tried on the Baltic RIB hybrid no way could I wear that for a day especially in summer. We tried the Spinlock deckvest 270 & the Ergofit 290. They were both as comfy as each other, fully adjustable So it came down to price & I got a superb deal on the crewsavers that Spinlock couldn't get near, so Crewsaver it is.

Bought the Leader of the Opposition a Kru Sport Pro Lifejacket this morning from Northwest Marine and it was the last one they had in stock. Apparently, it's just won the 'best buy' award in one of the yachting mags and they've had a run on them.

Looks 'fashionable' enough and she'll never know I've removed the gas cylinder.....

Paid £10 extra for a light though!

Tut tut!

What you need to do is untie the little toggle string from the CO2 cylinder and refix it to a light thread. When she "falls" in, she'll pull the toggle line, ripping the thread out and it will be lost. Afterwards it will look like a manufacturing fault...

wiLlfiSh taught me that one

(if she isn't carrying your car keys or wallet, you won't need a light)

spin lock or Kru sport, not going to go far wrong, seems there's plenty of good user reports on them both. I just got two kru sport for a ridiculous price from nauitibuoy 2nd hand. They aren't the pro with light and spray hood, or the 175. but I'm only a midget (buoyancy wise) and not a night boating guy anyway.

Seem v comfy.
