we're all doomed...............
The lifetime of nuclear reactors is calculated in “reactor-years”. One reactor year means one reactor operating for one year. The world’s 443 nuclear power plants have been running for a total of 14,767 reactor-years, during which time there have been 23 accidents involving a reactor core melting. That’s one major accident every 624 reactor years.
But according to the design requirements, an accident of that scale should only happen once every 20,000 reactor years. The actual incidence is 32 times higher than the theory allows."

My understanding was once the hulls were 'out-sourced' the quality drastically dropped, but however cheaper than manufacturing in-house. And my mate who was telling me about this history of this particular brand said the hulls from Poland were anything but fine
Like anything in life, Aldi's cheapest steak might not compare well against M&S's finest, you pays yer money............................

Your assumption is quite wrong. It was sold through a broker to a person who was aware what he was buying. The broker was the one that sorted the price.
You really need to check fact before you throw around stupid accusations.

It makes me laugh how many on here are like old sticks in the mud unable to change and honestly feel that British is best. Tell me where the engines are made on all of your boats.
You need to get real and enter the real world

I looked at all the Ribs at the show several times and I have to say that I found little to choose between them. I simply would not discount a brand just because it is made in China without actually looking at them

Come on Bigplumbs, lets not do this.
I have been boating for over 40 years, 30 of those as the owner of various makes/marques of power boat. I research everything to death, as I am doing my RIB purchase. I speak to real owners, I look at real boats. My own research so far has shown that British makes have more history, and much better actual user reviews, than the Chinese makes that I have found.
I'm a big boy now, I can make my own decisions, I do not need to 'curry favour' with the 'in crowd'. However I do appreciate that there are many on this forum that have much more experience than me where RIBS are concerned, which is why I am here.
Chill out man!!

Japan. Are you suggesting that people should seriously consider Chinese built engines too?

If you compared all the brands at the boat show and can’t give the op any recommendation on which are better or worse I think it says more about your competence to share an opinion than it does on the equality of design, construction, and finishing of those boats.

+1
There was a vast array of RIB's at the show - from eye popping super yacht tenders, class leading commercial boats and then onto the other end of the spectrum and the 'budget - made in China brands' - so BP to say there was little to chose from is just plain stupid - in my humble opinion
