White Marks

Hey All,

Ive got a Brig Eagle. About last year I started noticing little black spots. Over winter I began noticing them getting worse. I joined this forum and followed a few steps to try get the spots out. In doing so ive also noticed some white spots that appear to be the hypalon cracking. The biggest issue I have is the boat is 3 years old. ive cleaned it always and take good care of it. has anyone else encountered this and have they found and resolution? Could it be a warranty issue? I think I have attached the image correctly.

What you have there is quite a bad case of mold and mildew. I'm assuming the boat has been covered with a tarpaulin or boat cover, so no air has been able to circulate.

Ideally you want the boat undercover when not in use, but allowing sufficient air circulation. Others will recommend specific products to try and clean this up I'm sure.

It does look remarkably like mould from being left under a cover. Is it left under trees?

No where near trees, gets good sun so should be dry. I just can't understand how mildew/mould would even start on it.
