Wife Swapping!!

Ah, got your attention. What I meant to say was 'Route Swapping'.....

Following my recent venture into converting Magellan Waypoints & Routes into Lowrance Waypoints & Routes (See Electronics Forum), wouldn't it be useful to have an area on the forums, where members could share GPS Waypoints & Routes for others to download? This could save endless hours planning out your own, and provide a quick & easy way to get the info you need when planning a 'spur-of-the-moment' weekend get-away.

Of course not!! But, then again, I don't trust even my own routes without carefully checking them before use!

I just thought it might be useful to be able to download someone's, say, Falmouth to Penzance route, then modify it to suit my needs - Lunch in Helford, then inside the Manacles....

Good idea, I have thought that a good addition to Ribnet would be a diary section such as the one on Forces of Nature (a windsurf / kitesurf site).

Using a similar format, route (waypoints)- weather - slipway used - pub visited - beer drunk overall trip rating - etc would be a valuable resource.

I've no idea how complicated it would be to construct but it would add to an already great site

Yep.
Like the destinations bit particularly if you can find some nice places to visit.
We did Hurst and Keyhaven at the weekend - it was lovely! well worth a visit if you are down west wight and the tide is right.
I am looking for some good places to land without having to swim ashore or sit in crowded marinas.
Next trip, langstone maybe?
