Would you recommend your friend buy this........

Hi

A friend has an option to buy this rib on flee-bay. He has asked for my opinion but as a yachty rather than a rib person I am not sure I am qualified to comment too much.

On face value looks like it ticks the boxed (although could be over powered)

I would be very interested in anyone elses opinions

Scope is to use in Solent for day trips to beaches etc from mainland and also in and around salcombe / south coast.

Thoughts?

If that prop is ten hours old I'd be amazed. I sold my old boat with 30 hours on it and you would be hard pressed to tell the prop wasn't new.
Those 90hp yams are prob one of the best outboards ever built. Wouldn't reccomend a 90hp on a 4.5 metre for anyone one the lesser side of well experienced. You don't need to use the power but the temptation is always there in the wrong hands!
