OK... so after posting my first attempt at a web site the other week and finding that I had visits from Greece, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, France, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Germany, USA, Canada and Spain in the first week I thought I better spend a bit of time improving it!!

So out with Mr Gates's Software and in with Dreamweaver, and my latest attempt is now live.

The aim is to keep it up to date with the latest trips we have had. I am also planning to add some trips before Panther, like the Spirit send off weekend over the next week or so.

I hope the links page will be usefull with links to tide times and shipping forecast - any other links you want added let me know

The intention is to grow the site so that it is dynamic rather than static - so any constructive comments would be welcome (does it load quick enough etc) either here or to jools@ribpanther.co.uk

Cheers
Jools

Very good Jools I'm impressed. Whats do you charge to put together websites for other RIbsters?

John's is good as well, although I note that he has used a pic I took of Dromedary at Cardiff without acknowledging copyright Mind you Geoff has done the same on Boatlaunch. My legal team has been advised.............

Alan

so sorry for using your pic, but as my visage is also copyright I hope we can come to some deal.

Jools

I think we may need to start a venture in web hosting for all these people who would like to see there RIBs on the web.

Now you have improved your site I suppose I will have to get mine up to scratch.

John

Jools, try as I might I simply can't remember signing a model release form when you took the picture on the Panthers first outing. My solicitor reckons that you owe a me penny per hit, so if the website is averaging 100000 hits a day thats 4000 pounds you owe me for the last 4 days alone.

Just give me tomcat and we'll call it quits. That will include Global copyright

Best regards
Stuart

Never mind about picture copyright. How about a new thread with some words re your round Ireland trials and tribulations. Try though I might the only mentions I could find about you usually started "....and Stuart is following by road....."
So how about the plain unvarnished...we all wait with bated breath.

Brian,

OK I'll tell all, but that's why I need to sue Jools as it cost me so much extra money. It's such as sad story I confidently expect Mike G to start an appeal for me.
Going round Fastnet in the Fog and dark in a choppy sea was the easy and enjoyable bit. Next time I am going to give up a lot quicker

I'll write it up over the next few days

Regards
Stuart
