Anybody got a XS 550 Just wondering what engine you are running it with?

Don't know if it is of any help, I do not have an XS550, but used to have one!
It had a 90 Opti on the transom, which was the max it was rated for at the time. I believe that the upper HP limit has now been raised to 115.

I have a 1995 Mariner 30 HP two stroke for the price of a Mariner 200 XL. £15k. Sounds too good to be true? Not a bit of it. Genuine price for the astute outboard buyer.

We had the same and used to get circa 34 Knots, Ian is correct current models are 115 hp rated

According to their site, the latest model is rated to 125 hp

Hi Chris,

I have an XS550 with an Yam 100 4stroke and standard alu K-serie prop 19". Speed with 2 persons and full tank 34 knots @ 5800 rpm WOT.
