Yarmouth Harbour New Rib Pontoons

Has anyone been to Yarmouth Harbour and used the all new Rib Pontoons?

Went out there today and took a look (from land, not in the boat), and they look good.

Should be much better mooring up against the new pontoons, rather than the old method of tying up against the wall.

Yep - mini sibfest used the wall , but I have been on the new ones, as have some other local RIbbers ... much more civilised ! I think a much better layout too with fuel close to the entrance .

How come you used the wall still? I thought they were stopping that?

Always amusing when people used to tie up with short rope at high tide though

Used them the day after they opened. Really nice and a very civilised way to get ashore for lunch!!

Only thing is there are some seriously nice boats that get tied up there so don't do it if you get jealous easily. We were easily the shortest by five feet at twenty-one foot!!
