Yippee!!!!!
Finally after months of searching, dithering and getting very dissolutioned found a Ribeye, deposit paid collect in a week or so so am now a proper RIBnobber
Very excited but also little anxious, engine was stolen (considering new Etec 90hp) also need to fit Charplotter, DSC etc so will be posting regularly for help and advise over the coming weeks
Cant wait to meet up with some of you guys on the water

Looks really nice, well done. If you need an engine there are a couple of really helpful trade members on here that will sell you a brand new or secondhand outboard.

When its cleaned up and had all the kit fitted confident it will look like new Chris, its 2010 vintage but hasnt been used for a couple years (long story!)
Definetely looking for engine, like I said thinking new Etec but would consider good second hand from reputable dealer so hopefully the traders will be along shortly

Nice boat. Really like these Ribeyes with proper rear seats.
Engine choice - keep us posted.

It'll be nice to see a Ribeye without a 4 stroke Yam on it

except it has a powered by Yamaha logo on it! i would stick to something bombproof to power it. the hulls and fitments are pretty good i hear so would be a shame to ruin it!!

Looks great. Be interesting to see how she goes with the Etec, rather than the usual Yams. When the time comes give me a shout, might be able to help with electrics (we try to beat most UK prices) and or Engine. Nothing suitable right now though on the engine front but do have a 2008 Etec 90 coming in this month

Nice You bought it at the right time, you can spend the next month or two sorting all the bits out as the weather improves.
Whereas I bought my first RIB in the Autumn last year and just when I got it all sorted (almost) the rain, wind and freezing temperatures all conspired to leave me frustrated.

Love it Andyces! Easy to tow behind family car (have 1.9 diesel Astra) done about 80 hrs and over 900 miles since Feb in calm and not so calm waters, if I was buying new wouldn't have long range fuel tank or battery under helm jockey thou .... If you want any more info please feel free to PM me
