I know, Christmas spirit has kicked in early
..pass me another dram of Ardberg
I agree the parking in front of that garage door is silly, but from the photo I can't see how close the car actually is to the door - bit it's not right against it and the paint markings do not make it clear it's a no parking area, or signs
how thebuilding houses the lifeboat.
To be fair I'd expect a lifeboat to be housed in the lifeboat station not a shed away from it if I didn't know the area. I'd also expect a keep clear /no parking area to be clearly marked which this is not.
Totally agree it's poor parking.
We are at pains not to judge certain incidents e.g. injuries from not wearing a kill cord, hitting navigation marks at speed etc , but seem very judgmental on this which might be a genuine mistake, and one in which no one was hurt.
The boater had obviously realised their error and was returning when they got into "difficulties" whatever tehy were...may be taking risks to get back quickly? ...Far too much Christmas tolerance
