Your stormiest sky whilst out bobbing around
Took this today as a squall line passed through. The wind danced from every direction on the compass whilst it moved through. As luck would have it the heavens opened up just to my East and West but I stayed totally dry!!!! All I needed to do was open my arms out and I could of been Bruce Almighty......

Yep its not often you get to see all of that in one picture
In my native habitat in the North West of Scotland its not uncommon due to the Mountains surrounding the coast .. you tend to get rapid variance when a low pressure system is dominant ..
edit
and thats why its the biggest problem with those who think its time for a 'nice' kyak or something

The first shot is heading from pilots cove across the bar looking toward Anglesey. The second is inside Abermenai heading up the strait, just before ty Calch looking towards Wales.

We went out earlier in the year just as we were buying the RC. I expect you will see more of them on the straits. Both are from Gods country a bit north of Wolverhampton!

Hellshire beach off Hellshire point Jamaica
Admittedly not ribbing but epic clouds, didn't put the girls off in their bikinis though.

Helgoland, Summer 2010 or so. Resulting in a passenger ferry being adrift and ending up on the rockies

Without prejudice or disrespect - if you have time/opportunity to photograph it, it's not too bad!

Your stormiest sky whilst out bobbing around
You must be that same terwat that when you cut others up on the roads shouts "if you've got time to honk you had plenty of time to avoid me!"
;-)
Or is that me, I get confused.

You should take a tiny Chill Pill
I was just reminiscing about the most horrible skies I'd seen at sea and thinking: "the camera was my last thought... "
...just sayin' is all
