Hello,

I am looking for some feedback on this model of rib from anyone that has owned or used one.

A dealer near me has a 03 model for sale with a Honda 130 on the back.

I am looking for a larger rib for day trips with my kids.

I like the boat because of the layout and the ample seating but there are mixed reviews on the forum.

Can anyone please tell me:

Build quality - are these ribs up to the mark? Are the tubes generally hypalon?

Performance - would a 130 be ok with 6 people on board?

Stability - if the weather does turn, how would this rib perform? Safety is my biggest priority with kids on board.

What price should a clean 03 model make?

Any other feedback or guidance would be appreciated.

There was a 650 open pro on the Round Ireland 2013.
Think they had a 130hp Honda.
Experienced local crew - they seemed to manage fine with the boat
in some less than favourable conditions.
There is a little piece about them in the current Round Ireland issue of Powerboat and Rib.

PM mudbug on here - he had one with a 150 2s on the back. Went well enough. He sold it end of last season to get something bigger.

I dont think they are...one of the crew was a lifeboat cox'n I think.
There were four on the boat, I remember hanging on to the wheel of my Rib for grim death and looking over and seeing a couple of them sitting on the tubes !
