I’m still having a problem achieving 50mph on the boat. Currently at 32mph @3800 rpm. Prop is out of the manual 24P I think. Gear ratio is 1.50 a per the manual also.
I spoke with some diesel of shore racers this weekend at the world championship and they were skeptical 1.50 was correct as they had never seen diesel hooked up to anything but 1.36 drive ratio for speed.
I have another 4 blade prop I’m going to put on and see if my symptoms change dramatically. Anyone have thoughts on changing the drive ratio?
