On your Avatar/picture - is it PRO Open 550 with hard top ?
How do you find it for rough weather ?

I have been never risk wit family on board but sometimes you can be catch in bad conditions.

@Office888 you have mentioned in your post that "hulls made in us". Are they any differences in hull construction methodology in US and EU - like infusion or any other ? Or the quality and construction have to be the same ?
Between the two facilities, they are pretty much the same build, just the components are different. The core differences are the only big change.

RTM is typically only used for small parts. Locker lids, consoles, inserts... the boats themselves are hand made. Only the French origin small RIBs had RTM hulls. The current hulls themselves are hand laid with minimal chopper gun use to ensure consistency. Tunisia does have some robots / CNC equipment for cutting processes.

The photo in my Avatar was a 1989 Pro 530 . It has wider and flatter hull aft then the current Pro 550's.

And what is the difference between
550 PRO OPEN NEO
and
550 PRO OPEN

Is it only colors of the tubes ? Or some changes in hull or equipment ?

30 k EUR in France with Evinrude 115 seems to be reasonable price (including VAT)
Sélections Bateaux d'occasion ou neuf par NAVYCAP...
Equivalent in USD is 34 k.

It is almost the same price than not so famous 5,4 RIB with 115 Engine.
I was sure that Zodiac is much more expensive.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And I will repeat question "how 550 PRO Open behave on rough conditions'

The Pro and Pro Open are completely different hulls. The Open has a deeper V and is a little longer and I believe wider as well with built in console and seats. The Pro is very popular as it can be built with essentially any layout that you want.

Pro Open 550 vs Pro 550, the Pro Open has a bigger tube diameter and different tube shape too.
---
Pro Open 550 = 23" tube , 18'1" length, 8'2" width
Pro Open 650 = 23" tube , 21'4" length, 8'2" width

vs

Pro 550 = 20" tube , 17'2" length, 7'3" width
Pro 650 = 23" tube , 20'8" length, 8'2" width

Bigger tubes = bigger capacity, and it gives better load carrying at the transom, so that's how it is able to get away with a 115hp 4-stroke on the back.
