I am curious as to how many robbers out there may have the Zodiac Eclipse (17,19 and 22), or the commercial variants (H640 and FCB220). I would like to know your experiences and tips regarding ownership, maintenance and operation.
The white rib in the photo below is a 1999 Eclipse 22, the red boat is a FCB 220, belonging to another member in Canada.
The FCB220 in the picture is a military grade aluminum hull. Maintenance is minimal. The outboards were recently upgraded to 2015 Evinrude Etecs that run like a dream. We also run a 20' Hurricane 590 with custom pilot house on a fibreglass hull, there is a definite handling difference between the two.
