I'm sure it's possible. Before you start cutting off any handles, speak to your Zodiac dealer regards availability of the cream ones. In your case that's probably Western Marine. Make sure the boat tubes are inflated to pressure. You'll need a hairdryer to work over the area to soften the glue, then start to prize the handle off, a small section at a time to get leverage. You just need to be patient. Avoid using anything with a metal edge however tempting as you could potentially damage or puncture the PVC material under the handle. A plastic scraper would work. Something like this, but cut the blade by 50% and round off the edges.

With the grab handle off, sand off the remaining glue with a flap wheel attachment. Again, paying particular attention to the surrounding PVC material, as whatever you sand outwith the glue area will be visible when the handle is refitted. Masking off the surrounding PVC is a good way to avoid marks and serves as a guide.
Finally you can clean the PVC material and degrease with MEK. Follow Polymarine's instructions to the letter with proper ventilation, and ambient temperatures, paying particular attention to sanding the PVC material and the back of the handle, degrease, etc.
Worth noting - you need to prime the backs of the rubber handles with hypalon adhesive first, then PVC adhesive as per their instructions.
