Zodiac Hurricane 472 RIB - need help

Hi!

I have a Zodiac boat that I am looking to replace the rib for (which is proving to be more difficult than i thought). I finally found a couple of places that offered me the rib but at a price (shipped to Bahrain): UK 5,944 and UK 5,075.

I have seen some rib replacements for Zodiac boats at UK 2,600 for a Zodiac PRO 470.

My question is i guess, would it be possible to get the 470 and have it fit on the 472? I would not mind making minor adjustments given the price difference. They look really similar in pics, but how can i find out if it can be done for sure? I tried emailing them, no luck.

Below are some numbers from the plate on my boat and i have attached some pics:

Are you trying to replace the tubes?

RIB is a Rigid [hulled] Inflatable Boat; I assume you're not replacing the whole thing.

I own a ex australian navy H472. To the best of my knowledge the hull shape are the same between the 472 and 470. The 472 is just a heavier built hull. Thicker glass and larger longer stringers. I was told that by a guy from Zodiac MilPro Australian office!
Therefore you should have no trouble fitting 470 tubes to a 472 hull!
Going off what I have seen in pictures ,the difference might be shorter end cones aft of the transom.
All the best with it
Cheers Todd
