Zodiac Hurricane

Currently enjoying a well-earned rest in Florida, and stumbled across this beauty on Ebay. No idea what it will go for, but suffice to say I then looked for a set of replacement tubes, then how much it would cost to container back to the UK, plus import duty... yadda yadda. Nice to dream.

I just finished mine (YouTube: zodiac hurricane seatrial).
Replaced engine, Volvo (180ish) to Steyr (260)
Rebuild stern drive (duo prop)
Full strip, faired and paint
Full rewire
New electronics (complete lowrance package)
Over $100k spent!
It's now a weapon that I can take anywhere at anytime.
It's not going to be as easy as you think but if you get to the end it will be great.
....and then you have to store it somewhere 8.5 meters x 3 meters....I forgot about that in my plans.

Sounds good Troy, I'll check it out. If I won the UK or Euro lottery tomorrow, I'd rather do a complete rebuild than spec it from new. Crazy I know, but I'd love to do a complete overhaul.
