Zodiac identity numbers Help

Can anyone aid me in understanding the following identity number on my Rib recently purchased it's as follows. ES-XDCR831KD707. George

Hi, the last two numbers are normally the year, in your case it will probably be a 2007.

I'm sure someone will be along soon to explain the rest.

just checked mine seriel number ends in 07 and it was delivered in 07 so the above looks certain

Would anyone know the length. Is it 7.3 mt, 24 feet?.

The HIN (hull identification number) does not tell you the boat length. The number is made up of
The manufacturers code at the beginning,
The build number (unique to each vessel) next and the date code at the end.

Zodiac Hurricane does include the model/length in metres in their HIN. My 733 is coded as 730 as the first three digits.
