Zodiac Medline 2

Hi All,

After some advice? We have been blasting around on our wonderfull Ribcraft 4.8 since April, its great boat and has really looked after us, but isn't big enough really.
I have found a Zodiac Medline 2 locally in pristine condition, brand new tubes, hull in great condition, 150hp engine in good condition,
I live in south Wales, so majority of use in the Bristol channel, with occasional trips to Anglesey ( tow up and launch from Ty catch) I want to use it or touring ( some longer trips, even nights away), towing toys or wake boarding etc.
Been considering several other boats, such as Cobra, Avon adventurer 6.2, Ribcraft 585, etc etc.
How will the zodiac stack up? From a seating, storage and practicality perspective it looks great? Rated for 5 people cat c and 11 people cat b according the plates on it?
Constructive comments would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob,
I've got a Medline I down in Portugal, ideal boat.

As you mention they have plenty of storage & seating The Medline I has more storage than my 7.2M AVON Adventure!!!

I have had a look online and spotted a nice one, with the 150 Honda?

Very practical, stable boat. Not sure everyone here would agree they are best suited to our lumpy waters but if you're not planning on going nuts with it, should be fine.
I'm thinking of getting one for use in Spain. But the one I've found needs a new set of tubes. Don't suppose you know who supplied the new tubes do you?

Hi,

I think he Got the tubes from Zodiac dealer, possibly in Bristol, but I'm not sure.
I have opted not to go for he zodiac, so can put on in touch with the seller if you are interested.

Cheers Rob that would be good. Still torn between the practicality and sunpad on the Medline or the lines and performance of an Avon 620. I know which I want and I know which the wife wants

Thanks Aries, I was wondering if I could get some hypalon ones.

I'm pretty sure the new tubes fitted are hypalon, not PVC. They definitely have that look and feel about them.
The boat is in Swansea, the chaps name is Ashley, his number is 0777076220.
If you type zodiac Medline 2 for sale in Swansea, into Google, it will come up.
Its a 2006 boat with a Honda 150HP motor
