Zodiac Medline 2 Cover
Does anyone know where I could get a cover for a Zodiac Medline 2, suitable to be fitted on the boat on the water, when it is on a swinging mooring in Christchurch Harbour? The seagulls are too handy...
The cover I have for when it is on a trailer cannot be attached on the water.
Also, does anyone know of boat storage facilities suitable for a 6 m RIB around Christchurch?

Hi Jeremy
Just got back from L.Boat Show. By coincidence had a conversation about boat covers for zodiacs whilist lying in the water .
Julie at Chas Newens Marine said she could get them made with clips that fit the rubber strake,
www.chastheboat.com or email sales@chastheboat.com
hope this is of some help
Alistair

oooohhh, a.............
Medline II. I'm currently running a Med I but dream each and every night of owning a Med II.
Obviously yours is not for sale ! However, please keep my details (see PM) just in case you ever want to move her on.
As for a cover, sorry, apart from stating the obvious (local Zodiac dealer) I'm unable to help.
If you have any photos I'd love to see them up on the forum.

Actually.......
the cover you may have fits under the tubes and is fastened with straps under the hull ! If this is the case, take a look at my cover, which has no straps of this sort. It's a superb cover, light, water tight and secure. It's not a great picture I know, however it may enable you to describe it to the dealer. Try Sean at MGA in Rochdale. 01706 379669

Zodiac Covers
All Zodiac covers are like Me Me's, i had one on a Pro Open 650 and it was easy to put on in the water. Medline 11 is the same size a 650, and i think it cost about £600, wish all other covers where the same quality as Zodiac.

Sean at MGA......
in Rochdale is (so he claims) the largest Zodiac dealer / distributor in the U.K. Regardless, he's the mos helpful chap you would ever wish to meet. His number is above. If however, you have no joy, let me know, I'll pop in pick one up and post it off to you.
Graeme.
