Zodiac Medline 660 vs. New 6.8

Hello from the Great Lakes.

Currently considering purchasing a used 2018 Zodiac Medline 660 that is in great shape and has low hours on a Mercury 175. However, I have a toddler and there are some safety/usability features on the new Medline 6.8 that are pretty appealing, including bowrails, bigger seat in stern, bigger swim platform and driver seat as opposed to leaning post. Also, there appear to be more and better cleat options on the new 6.8.

I'd love any insight on the major differences on those two boats and whether I'm being overly concerned about the features like bow rail and larger backrests on the stern. Boat will mostly be used for Family Fun and cruising on big lakes along with some sailing support, so 3-5ft seas are probable but not often.

Thanks!
