I went to the boat show yesterday and was really impressed generally. Well organised and not so busy that you couldn’t chat to exhibitors etc.
I looked at the Zodiac Open RIBs and wondered what the views are from the forum on these? I could be tempted by a 5.5 plus Mercury 100/115 Hp

I had a 550 pro tour and loved it, regret selling it now. My daughter has the 500pro which I was out in 20kts of wind and some sloppy conditions yesterday which the boat took on with ease. I would happily buy either the 500, 550 or 650. I skipper a 7m Gemini and a 9m+ naiad but prefer the fun factor of the little zodiac's, they are so reactive to throttle and steering compared to the bigger boats.
