Zodiac Pro Open 650 Bow Anchor System

I recently purchased a 2014 Zodiac Pro Open 650. It comes with a nifty looking anchor system on the bow. However, I don't see any cleat or other means to tie off the anchor line in the anchor compartment. Would anyone have any insight into how this is supposed to function? Thanks in advance.

There should be a pop-up cleat towards the back of the anchor pulpit?

There is a pop up ring the anchor line passes through as it comes up through the anchor locker. I guess I could just tie the line off to itself around that ring. It is braced to the hull and may be designed for this purpose. I couldn't find a cleat inside the anchor locker.

My buddy's 550 (at least I think it's a 550 - circa 2004 or so) has a cleat on top, forward (as I recall) of the locker hatch. His boat sports a single glued-on roller at the bow (rather than a roller and line guide), and no ring coming up from the locker.

Thanks for the help. I think I better understand how this works now. I am a novice just trying to figure all this stuff out. On another note, have you ever done water skiing or tubing off of one of these boats? I was going to order a harness to attach to the eye hooks on the transom. Do you think that will work alright, or do you think I need a ski pole?

They throw a pretty good wake for wakeboarding...

The current flavor for towing with the Pro Open 550 / 650 is the "Turbo Swing".

I've towed tubes off the eyes. Works OK, but you have to watch the line while recovering people to make sure it stays out of the prop. Also, trimming the motor up and cruising slow you can put up a decent wake for another boat to tow a tube into.

I don't do any skiing, however, so can't help there.

I think there are a few different options, some have drop down bollards and anchor rope holders with nav lights built in etc. Ive got a 2014 550pro which has this set-up.
