Hi all, I'm looking for a 150 - 200HP 4 Stroke Outboard to put on our RIB. Ideally Yam, Suzuki, Tohatsu or Honda with low hours. Do get in touch if you know of anyone selling one.

That's what I thought. I've had one of the new Mercs for three years and I did s fair amount of research before buying as you don't hand over that amount of dosh without checking!! I didn't find one owner with a bad word.

Not a lot because of a few reasons one of which has been hellish wx over the last two years. Fifty and have not had any issues. I love the easy maintenance and the cost of same. It certainly has made a difference to the Ribcraft as I had an v6 150 mariner before

Interesting. So is the opinion on here generally positive re Merc/Mariners? There seem to be quite a few Verados around at a decent price...but I've always been told they're not trustworthy?
