6.6-8 m Serious RIB wanted

Dear forum friends,
I'm looking to trade up in size, recently sold my Osprey Viper 6.25. Looking for a a serious, well kept RIB, preferrably round the 7 m mark. I'm taking it to Sweden. It must be in good-excellent condition boat or engine(s) no more than 5 years old. Makes as Humber, Redbay, Osprey, Ribcraft springs to mind. Turn key condition with heaps of extras! Trailer should be in the package. Maximum price £ 25 k but no limitations downwards!

Any ideas?

Yours in Ribbing
Matt

Humber Ocean Pro

I have a Rib which may be of interest to you. I love it dearly but running two boats wife and two kids is not letting me use the Rib the way it should be used. I have not advertised it and its current value is around the £28.5K.
It is a 7.00m Humber Ocean Pro, blue tubes white Hull. It was manufactured in 2004 by Humber as their Southampton boat show and publicity boat and is still on their advertising material including their Web site and was sold in 2005. It is fitted with a Suzuki 200hp 4 stroke with stainless prop. I purchased her from the original owner in January this year and have added to her impressive inventory including a new Indispension twin axel rollercoaster trailer (£3.5k) a new radar/Ais ready 8.4 inch garmen plotter/fishfinder/fuel computer with a new full UK and Ireland detailed c-map max card (£2k) and a new 6hp 4st suzuki and all the brackets split fuel feeders etc (£2k). The Rib is fitted out with all the extras you would expect Luxury extreem consol and 4 exreem jockey's Large diamiter stainless A bar, under floor stainless 200l fuel tank (unusuall and very expensive from Humber) samson post front of consol seat, padded cusion for bow, excess pressure valves, grab handles tow hoops etc etc (even most embarresingly for a proper Rib a 4 speaker CD player!!)
The wholl rig is in first class condition with less than 100 hrs has been fully professionaly maintained from new and I can vouch for its phenominal sea keeping abilities.
It has never been kept in the water is all in perfect working order and will only be sold to a good home, it has a full Humber cover.
If you are interested give me a phone on 01856 811321.
Best Wishes

Harry

Hi

Have you found something yet. Just came into the forum today. A friend is selling a 7m rib. I'll find out more. He was looking for 10.5k? Interested, I could find out more if you like? Where are you based. Which town?

Dean

I've just realised You Bought my mates Colin's boat didn't you, I helped him prepare the boat for the long Journey......I take it made it OK. Colin spared no expense looking after that boat and I think you've got a good un. I imagine it will fly with a Suzi 300 on her.

I hope you went out drinking with him after he delivered it
