Can anyone tell me if this is a good buy


Zodiac pro 550 open
2007 evinrude 115 etec 2007 170 hours super quiet stainless prop
Tubes excellent condition no leaks
built in fuel tank
garmin gps sonar / radio
Great stable boat very dry ride
Great family boat
Trailer good condition not sure what it would be like on long distance as only ever launched it at boat yard where it's kept
Lots of paperwork including original receipt etc
Few other bits anchor /ropes
Evinrude xd oil two stroke oil

The honest answer to that question is no......no one is can tell you weather or not it's a good buy without seeing and assessing the boat properly.


On the face of it, if it's everything the seller says it is, then yes, that seems like a pretty fair price. However, that you're asking that question, kind of tells me that you you haven't spent enough time researching the market and looking at comparable boats.
Go look at it. Look for faults (you'll find them). It sounds like he's being a bit cagey about the trailer. Make sure it's sound & road legal and any faults with the boat can be put right with selling one of you're kidneys then decide for yourself it's a bargain.

I've got the same boat and very happy with it. That's the max size engine so it will have plenty of power.

I think £6500 sounds pretty good tbh, but as another said hard to say without seeing it.
