That's a very exact set of requirements (which is quite refreshing to see) but if the twins and seat layout is based on a well thought out need, do you need to make life hard for yourself with restricting it to a brand that has relatively few boats in circulation to the public which are in "really good condition"?

I have a 6.4 Twin engined Ribcraft for sale in excellent condition. Seating doesn't match your spec, but that can be resolved.

Budget depends on Engines as they are the most expensive element. Mid to high teens available for right boat. Even low twenties.
In reply to Poly. Once you've owned a Delta and pushed it in heavy seas, by heavy I mean force 7 up there is very few other makes to challenge one.The Delta quote by Charles Dyas is spot on. " Whatever conditions you find yourself in. You can be assured that a Delta has been there before"

She's crossed the Irish Sea a couple of times, done 400 miles in a week off Western Scotland, crossed the channel.

I'm not disputing that Delta are "up there" in terms of ability to handle the seas, but there are certainly a couple of other makes which would give them a run for their money. You WON'T find a twin engined delta of that size in immaculate condition for £20k, so something has to give.

thats probably true but I'm sure Tom McLaughlin, Jason Purvey, and others would provide similarly cheesy quotes about their own brands if you wanted. Its probably 20 years since I was last on a Delta (and at your budget that is how old the boat will be!) and I was very impressed. But since then I've been on boats from both of the stables I mention above and been *more* impressed. Now I'd happily drive a Delta, and even own one, but if I was on yor budget with a very specific spec I'd keep my options open on Brand.

I agree 100% with Polly and sorry took it for granted that that was a wish list ie delta type handing, etc Oh and a suicide seat is called that for a reason. The rest though can be sorted easily as changing seats is never a problem.

Changing seats done right is a problem as it is expensive!
You will be reasonably well into 4 figures to reglass and reflow the deck.
If you can budget it look at the ribcraft above, you will be very happy with how it handles anything you throw at it.

Got to second that daves boat is spot on no expense spared go anywhere ribcraft. If you want safety sea keeping and total redundancy you are in the right place 👍
