I have a 2001 zodiac 650 pro with a 2010 hypalon tube that needs replacement after the beaded rope separated from the tube on both port and starboard sides. I had it repaired once before last year from a company in RI. The tube itself is in perfect condition. Anyone out there have such a tube set in the North East US?
I have a set of tubes that are in extremely good shape....normal wear and tear and the perimeter rubrail needs a little glue/love. The tubes are red hypalon and were new in 2012. I bought the boat recently and used it for a couple of months before taking it out of the water beginning of October. No leaks at all. boltropes are pretty damn near perfect too!
My family wanted this boat to look new so I reasearched and got a great deal on brand new tubes (VERY expensive proposition) and wanted to recoup some of the cost by selling these older ones.....there is really nothing wrong with these tubes....they are 8 years old. Hypalon lasts a VERY long time.
